This was taken in South Bend, Indiana which is home to Notre Dame. You can see the N D Emblem painted on this bridge. I did not clone it out since It was looks like it was done for a reason and there is no other marks or drawings on the bridge. I know we were not too far from the college. You can view the first river walk post Here sandi ♪ ♫

This is another keeper. I guess it's a matter of opinion , but the ND is graffiti even tho it is nicely done, it is still state or county property. The bright blue tries to grab the viewer's attention away from the beauty of the rest of the image. I think the image would be better off without it. None the less, this is a keeper and well done.

You certainly have an eye for a grand photo. I was just looking at some of your first uploads, and although you've grown as a technical photographer, your eye remains good..no, excellent as always :)

Lovely photo! The graffiti appears to be the logo of the Notre Dame sculling team (the crossed oars, ya know?). Although it draws the eye, it also makes the photo interesting.

Another one of yours in my faves !! The Notre Dame emblem just makes the bridge part of the history of the river. Just one of my quirky thoughts my dear friend ;)

Some really interesting colors and reflections, Sandi, but most of the good stuff is contained in the upper and left sections of the photo. Perhaps you might try cropping off the right and bottom portions (thereby reducing the largest version to a size of 1600x1200).

Notre Dame! Boo! Hiss! I'm in Michigan Country! lol
Honestly though, it's an awesome photo. It's almost hard to tell in the foreground where the landscape ends and the reflection begins. Nice composition and perspective.

PS: I'm glad you didn't clone out the ND emblem. :)

A really beautiful shot, Sandi. The composition is excellent, the colours stunning, the reflections add extra interest, and the warm tones of the bridge-supports complement the warmth of the light and the vegetation perfectly. The only bugbear... like earlier comments, I think the shot would be better off without the rowing club's logo. Whoever painted such a bright and brash logo so unsympathetically on subtle stone should be made to walk the plank! That's no reflection on your own abilities, which are peerless, just an observation on the deplorable insensitivity of officialdom.

Very nice Sandi,May have been better if you had erased the logos and notice on the bridge as these tend to draw the eye to them, however all in all a very nice scene well taken..Richie
