I thought this was adorable and wanted to share this little praire dog with you. Taken at the potawatomi zoo. I just heard on the news today that they have two years to make some much needed improvements or they will loose alot of their animals. Because they will not be approved to keep them. So Hopefully they will be able to pull it off. They already are starting to work on it, so hopefully. >< sandi ♪ ♫

What a fat little rolly polly! Makes me want to pick it up and snuggle it and give it a carrot stick. lol Great shot. The Zoo may be having problems but food for the animals sure isn't one of them!

He's adorable! I thought he was a ground hog at first, I've never seen a prairie dog. Looks like he's sittin' pretty for you. Great capture. Too bad about the zoo, hope they can make the changes.

Sandi, this little guy looks so cute, and full, and satisfied, I can't imagine a happier prairie dog anywhere! I visited the Potawatomi Zoo about 20 years ago. I hope they get their much needed funding so this little guy and his friends can keep their home! Wonderful shot! ~Mimi :o)
