Took this shot at the zoo awhile back and i'm afraid I don't know what the unique looking fella is but thought he was neat and seems to have some hair going on there. Lol!

I think it's a Rogaine Hairagrowus. They are friends with the Bald Eagle. This one looks more alert than any I've ever seen. You really did a good job capturing him. Very nice post. It's not a Buschacarus because it doesn't have ears.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Sandi, I assume from the dimensions of this image that you cropped it from a larger photo, and yet the focus is excellent. Nice job! (BTW, I'm pretty sure it's an emu -- Australia's largest bird species.)
All of earth is crammed with heaven And every bush aflame with God But only those who see take off their shoes. - Elizabeth Barrett Browning<p>
