I decided to try to get rid of the other stuff in orginal posting of this image which was titled "Swan Ice" I cropped, cloned and blurred this one to get this result. It was suggested I try to do a rework in a private message so thought I would give it a try. The first posting of this one can be seen Here ♥:)sandi♥

I didn't even notice that the stuff in the first picture was a distraction, until I clicked on the link back to it. This DOES look much nicer..especially with the frame. Great work, Sandi.

Well you have turned "not so ugly ducklings" into swans with your changes. I like this one best because I'm not distracted by the background like in the other. It must be nice when you have a 78 C-Index and are not satisfied. I got a 12 going and I'm not real satisfied with it. Emphasis is more on swans where it should be. Good one Tigz.

Once again, my dear friend, I like the first post better. You know me..I like color and design!..lol..My eyes don't get distracted by other sights in a photo. I feel other things give it more excitement. Just my opinion.

Sandi, after my previous comment think you know I'm speaking the truth. When I say 'splendid' now, you can take for granted that it's splendid to me indeed! Super job!

Great work Sandi. Didn't know this was your work until I opened the thumbnail. The first picture is very good too and it got a welcoming review from members. Keep up the good work.

Sandi, you did a magnificent job with the postwork on the original. I love how you cropped it so one can focus more on the two swans. Your timing was great ~ I still find this quite an amusing shot. Excellent work my friend.

This is very nice, too, but I liked the ice and water textures in the other one. edit: I went back to look at the other one again and this one is definitely and improvement! Nice work.

Well, went back to the original posting and read all the comments. I didn't one place where anyone criticised the original perspective. I like them both and not only that, I kept them both. So there!

You have won me over with this repost. You work on it has produced a more refine photo. The original is strong on its own merits, but this version takes it to new heights.

This looks like a beautiful dance on ice. A very elegant capture. The shadows, and pieces of ice help make this image stand out in the best way. This makes a fantastic wallpaper and gets good comments. One of the best winter scenes Sandi, and a keeper for sure!

Hi Sandi,
I thought I'd drop by. I love this shot. There is great beauty and detail here. It brings the romance of Swan Lake to mind, or am I turning into an old 'softy'?

Stan.
