I had this in VB and gave it 10 that it deserved. Deer hunters are suckers for deer pictures but this is so good you don't have to be a deer hunter. Ever see the movie? Great scene that's so familiar in my part of the world as well. Excellent photo Tigz.
Too much! You go to the game preserve and spot this near home. Reminds me...I was scouting a canyon where I knew there were deer...didn't see a one. I turned to leave and one was pacing me on a small hillside not 25 yards away...ever get that really stupid feeling? Good one here, at least you got a shot.

She's a beauty ... I love the attentive stance of this doe. If it wasn't for the lighting she would have blended in so well with the surroundings. Good eye on your part Sandi ... great capture.
No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
COME ON YOU GREENS, UP THE ARGYLE.....
What a strange thing to have happen. I was just getting up to get some water after having seen your upload and as I looked out the kitchen window, there were six deer in a little wooded area on the other side of the back yard!!! I couldn't get to my camera, and even if I had they would have been gone once I pointed it at them.
So I can appreciate the work and diligence it takes to capture one of these beautiful animals, and thanks for sending it along!
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
If it wasn't for that patch of sunlight the deer happens to be standing in, it would probably blend into the background unseen. Wonderful capture Sandi.
Thanks for sharing.
