Another one from the Calendar Gardens. It is formed in a circle and has sections for each time of year with corresponding plants and flowers. It is one of my favorite spots for this kind of shot. I have no idea what kind of flower this is, maybe someone can name it for me. sandi ♪ ♫

Looks like the flower needs a shave with all the whiskers. lol Great color on this one and so clear Tigz. I can see why this would be one of your favorite spots. Love the framing. Have a good weekend.

I thought the same thing as Tick, only how clear it is with the whiskers showing. The colors are gorgeous, and so is the lighting. Very nice Sandi.

Lovely shot. The purple one is a pasque flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris) and the little blue ones are glory-of-the-snow (Chionodoxa luciliae). They make a very pretty combination in this photo.
