Found this large beauty ( a Viceroy) flitting about my neighbor's butterfly bush. This is a hand held shot and decided not to enhance the color. Used the sigma 70-300 zoom set on macro and so was the camera. sandi♥

Beautiful! We call them Monarch butterflys here. The natural colours you have caught are quite enough too. Well done.

A really good post Tigz. The colors are so good and the clarity is excellent. Everytime I try to take a photo of one they become a betterfly. Anyway that is what they do. Very nice photo.

I do not photo shop any of my photos. The odd one may be slightly cropped!!! They are as I have taken them. NO touching up!!!
