A lovely Dahlia (with friends) from the Dahlia trial gardens at the Bonneyville Mill County Park, in Bristol, Indiana. Used the 17-70 sigma macro for this one. No color enhancement done on this one. sandi♥
She sure is a pretty lady ... love the soft red colors. The busy bees are a really nice bonus. Wonderful capture Sandi & so nicely presented. Straight to my faves. I love it.
Gorgeous Sandi! The play of light on the petals and vibrant colour make the flower appear almost 3D! Happy Birthday too Sandi - hope you have a wonderful day!

This arrived on Caedes here at 6.45 am so it's a birthday flower for us but probably a going to bed Un-Birthday (to quote Alice in Wonderland) for you.
Either way it's a delight. So bright and cheerful and it's brought its little friends along as well!

Why not live a little and look at My Gallery.
Fab'd this one Sandi. I love EVERYTHING about this and I mean everything. FAB-U-LOUS posting and presentation. WOW WOW WOW, that's a triple WOW, not a triple toe-loop, lol.
It's very impressive Sandi. The bees and the bloom are in brillilant sharp focus and there's tons of detail in the centre of the flower. Nice bokey background too. You're becoming an authority on how to do this kind of shot.
