Nice work Sandi. Wish we could bypass winter but without the rest it provides, me thinks the spring would not be as vibrant and beautiful.... Love these wonderful smiles!

With the aid of Sir Nigel's 'punching up drab colour' tutorial, you've created a wonderful image with vivid colours Sandi. As my 'shoebox' has gone with the loss of one of my external hard drives (the one with all my images), I can't give it a try. Will keep Nigel's tutotial in mind for a possible try in the future.
Good work!
Regards, Cornelius.

Hey Sandi! Thanks for the link to Sir Nigel's recipe... I have already tried it out on one of my pics taken with my XSi... in Auto-mode! The XSi by default takes the pics too light (outside). This recipe did a marvelous job in giving colour to the pic. I thank both of you for giving 'me' a way to improve images lacking in colour. Now all I have to do is find my way to Sir Nigel's thread! :o) Nice pic too! And as far as skipping Winter... that's almost done here. Vancouver (Canada) area has maybe one week of winter (snow)... spoken like an ex-Montrealer!

Thanks Sir Nigel for starting this and thanks Sandi for drawing our attention to it.

Sir Nigel is now Sir Shrek in case you wanted to know. lol. That is a great thread and I used it on my post of Half Rack Ridge as well. This is marvelous Tigz. Are you fixing dinner for the hunters. If so, I'll be right there. lol.

Took a little break from hunting. I saw a buck and a doe. I only shot them with the Canon, but alas it was too dark. Photo's sucked. (This was a copy & paste lol.)

I too wish it was spring already... but to pass winter... think we might not enjoy spring so much if we hadn't had all that cold weather first...
