4 out of the 5 ducks that hang out down at the pond (which is frozen) so now the Tippy river. They have been here for almost two years now.

A family that lives in the housing addition watches over them. She puts food out for them. and because of all the snow they were having a hard time making the trek up to the house. They ended up plowing a very nice path with their 4x4 for them from the road to the house. About the length of a football field. I have started to stop by there weekly to drop off some goodies for them and to help Tammy in the feeding of them. What us animal lover's will do! Lol!

I had not been able to pull off the road for any good shots of them for awhile now, and finally pulled it off.

The new lens was used on a sunny day.

If you don't know what Aflac is You can find out here

Thanks for your comments and have a good monday.

Such a wonderful party of ducks. You got them in really close with your new lens too and make a fine composition. I wonder that their little webbed feet don't get cold.

Great shot and title Tigz. I thought maybe there was going to be three ducks and a gecko lizard. You are really a softie at heart.

Excellent shot. No way that Mallard is uninsured.

Sandi, glad to hear the ducks are getting fed through the winter months. I have a family of pheasants that visit my yard frequently & have been feeding them as well.

Beautiful capture of these ducks & they appear so happy. Fantastic post my friend.

Brilliant colours and composition Sandi. I meant to comment on this ages ago but life has sort of got in the way. I love the way two of the ducks seem to be chatting with each other whilst the other two are just listening to the gossip.
