Using the Dynamic-Photo HDR program I came up with these results using two images.

Kind of extreme but I decided to go with it anyway.

You can view the orginal posting here to compare.

I want to thank you in advance for your comments and helpful advice. This is something new for me so any help is most appreciated.

The intense red is eyecatching & contrasts nicely with the dark gray clouds. Very well done Sandi.

I like both images very much Sandi. They do have different moods, this one is very dramatic with it´s intense reds and dark water and clouds. Very nice work!

I like them both but if I had to choose one as the blue ribbon winner, I think I would go with the original.

Great example of why they call it Dynamic Tigz. I like this one the best personally. It has more life to it. It is like everyone is saying about two different moods. Guess I prefer to be more upbeat right now. lol Congratulations.

Wow! I tried the free trial of that program, Sandi and the image came out grainy and I had a hard time seeing the small boxes with the possible choices for tone mapping. Do they (boxes) get any bigger once you buy the software?

Actually Sandi, I have to agree with Pat!! As you know, I am not a fan of editing at all. I too like the original better. I was thinking when I fist looked at it. I wonder what it was like before hand. Then I saw the link. Having said that I am enjoying your creations very much. Just becareful not to over do it. (That is just my personal opinion, and I do not wish to offend you, as I have always thought your shot were wonderful!!) Lyn.

Both photos are wonderful. The first has a soothing nice feeling. This version does feel more alive. Not over done from my perspective. I've seen many evenings more dramatic with no editing. I love the dreamy glow and smooth textures on the water. Especially enjoy the cloud layers that were brought out.

Hi All, if you see my initials on you latest upload you will know that I have had a good look at your photo, but at the moment, I'm getting over 200 friends a day, and I just cant keep up with you all, sorry, but I will look, but at times I wont be able to make many comments....No trees were killed in the sending of this message. Hi Sandi.. I think I like both images. Although some liked the original more I think I do like this effect too. But maybe don't use these colours to much and keep it for special images. For me a good post! Mich
