A Robin Redbreast I shot with the canon IS USM lens at a focal length of 300mm.

Sorry about the fence but cropped most of it out. I would have liked to get a more natural shot but could not get it done.

I like your Take on this One Sandi.
He looks like he just jumped the Prison Fence and has Found Freedom as he is Gazing the Wild Blue Yonders.

Sandi, the red breast of the robin is well contrasting with the blue sky. To me the fence isn't disturbing at all. It's on the contrary as it gives depth to your image.

The fence really adds to the scene Tigz. I agree with Frogz on the escape from prison look. That blue sky signifies freedom at its finest. Good post.

Don't worry about the fence Sandi. I think it gives the picture a certain je ne sais quoi. A very pretty Robin ( different to our Robins) against a wonderful sky.
