I took this shot the same morning as this one I stopped at this lake first (Webster Lake) and then took the drive to Shock lake and the fog got thicker before burning off.
I used my Sigma 17-70 DC Macro lens for this one and I used manual settings. I tried to keep the editing down to a minimum.
I would like to thank in advance for your comments and any constructive advice.

Sandi... I too like it a lot... but seeing as you did ask for constructive comments... I did play with the lighting a bit... brightened it a touch... maybe about 5-10 minutes worth! :o)
Velvia Vision - Smart Contrast 2 is all I felt was needed.
It seems to pick it up a bit... however, these kind of changes are rather subjective! Thanks for yet another lovely image in my screensaver folder. :o)

Oh Sandi...this is awesome!! Your perspective allows one to feel like they are actually sitting in a boat out in the middle of this calm and serene lake, just quietly watching the fog hoover over it until the sun shows it's face. Beautiful colour tones throughout and I love all the reflections. Nice touch with the float as well. Excellent work! Saved + Faved.
