Dressed in her finest color of red this Dahlia can be found at the Dahlia Trial Gardens in Bonneyville Mill County Park, which is about an hour's drive from here, and is very close to the Michigan state line.
This wonderful Dahlia garden is maintained by the Dahlia Society and I will be going back there for more shots. They are one of my favorites!
Thank you in advance for your comments and to those of you who have pm'd me with wonderful supportive words for my mom - your words of support and care mean alot to me.

This is a fantastic shot Sandi - it looks just like one of those lady's feather hats from the 40's and 50's - it was faved and also saved in my winter file so I can look at a taste of summer on a cold Illinois January day! Hope your Mom is doing better.
