A different way to display and it just caught my eye.

Another one from the Dahlia display this past Sunday at the Concord Mall. They had them on display both Saturday, and Sunday.

I would like to mention that before becoming a Caedes member and doing this wonderful hobby with the camera, and lens. I did not know much at all about flowers, but I sure am learning and realize just how much photography can open up our eyes, soul and heart.

Thank you in advance for your comments.

It looks like a Dahlia on the half shell Tigz. Very appetizing colors. It is so very clear. You are right about photography. Nothing better then a hobby that teaches you about life. Great post.

A beautiful Dahlia in that weaved seashell, Sandi. I don't think you could find a more enjoyable hobby. It's the only one out of many i've stuck with for 50 years. Excellent image.

I like the combination, it's very sophisticated. Makes me think of something oriental. The light is maybe a touch harsh, colours are good and the background is nicely blurred.
