I thought I would give you a break from the flowers. I took this one today at high noon, hence the title.

I used the Sigma 17-70 lens for this one and shot in manual settings.

Autumn is almost here! My favorite time of the year.

Thank you in advance for your comments, and advice.

This reminds me of the area at Providence Metro Park in Grand Rapids, Ohio. Excellent reflections, lighting and color, Sandi. Very nice.

Grand place for a walk and a photo Tigz. It looks like Shads might have been with you. Great use of lighting. I see your usual reflections. Great post.

Lovely peaceful scene Sandi but I refuse to accept that it's Autumn yet! We've had such a rotten Summer that I'm clinging on for dear life to the slightest scrap of good weather and calling it Summer!

A beautiful late summer / early autumn scene. High noon is always a difficult time for shooting, but I'd say you pulled this one off, Sandi. I do like the lighting & how it brings out the colors, but I may have attempted to bring out the shadows a bit more. That's probably just me. Love the peacefulness you caught here. Very well done.

The shade I think helped with the contrasts and you got nice reflections even with the sun high in the sky. Autumn is my favorite time of year too, Sandi.

Really gorgeous Sandi, the reflections are fantastic and the tall tree on the left hand side with its gentle colours really makes the shot.

Autumn is beautiful with all its beautiful colors, but a bit sad, because then move the swans, geese and cranes to warmer countries.
Good lighting, colors and beautiful reflections in the water.
Good shot Sandi.
