Taken from the deck of an eatery on Center lake. This place has been closed for sometime and I decided to get some shots from a different angle.

I received an email from Cindy (cynlee) and it does not sound very good.

Here is the copy what she wrote.

Some of you may have noticed my absence from Caedes for over 5 weeks. That is due to a combined sacral spine problem and Lymes Disease (yet again). I was beginning to think the pain intractable until last night when I had the most painful time of my entire life. After seeing the chiropractor today, I think I may be further along on the road to recovery though. Roy has been my angel of mercy and without him, I doubt I could have gotten through any one of these last 35 days or more. Well, I prayed my heart out last night too as I lay in agony waiting for the clock to tick away to the next time when I could have a pain pill. I know that He was listening to both of us crying out for his mercy and release from the pain that had a grip on me and for so long. I know that my illness has been tempered with mercy and I know that everyones' prayers in my behalf were never for naught as God knows already what is in our hearts and listens to every word. This may be the only card you receive from me for awhile since I still have a long way to go and hardly ever sit before a computer anymore. But, Roy and I want to wish you all the very best of holiday joy. May your happiness come in large bundles and your pain in infrequent little packets. Love to you all, Ciny and Roy

I wish I would hear she is getting better, and can only hope that she does.

Thank you in advance for commenting.

I will be catching up on my commenting a little later on.

Today is my daughter's birthday and I'm taking her out to eat and a movie (Old Dogs).

Congratulations with your daughter's birthday Sandi. Have a very nice day together.

The message of Cindy is touching to me. Saw in my friends-list that Cindy recently was able to visit the Caedes site from time to time. Therefore I've sent her a PM. Got however no response, an indication to me that the situation has become worse. Cindy and Roy will be in my prayes. Although I know, that the Lyme disease can be terrible, hope from the bottom of my heart that there soon will be any recovery.
Thanks Sandi for informing us.
Regards, Cornelius.

What a beautiful shot and I really hate the news about COG. Her presence is sorely missed. At least she has a friend, husband and companion to see her through this terrible time. He is to be admired. She has God working for her as well. I would say between Roy and God, she is in good hands.

Happy Birthday to your daughter and once again a great post. All this from an Old Dog. :)

A stunning view and capture, Sandi! I too, love the gold and blacks! I also find it interesting that the poles in the banister appear to be clear plastic, allowing the colors of the sunset to shine through! Beautifully captured! Faved+

I can't thank you enough for passing along Cindy's message, as I've been thinking about her and praying that good health will return to her soon. I truly hope the next time we hear from her, she is doing much better! Thanks again, and Happy Birthday to your daughter.

Sandi, your picture is one of hope. It is spiritual. It is the strength of belief. Your picture is strong in focus and detail. Your resolution is a metaphor for all of us as we pray for Cindy and Roy. Thank you.
