Took this one out at Lake Webster when I was out there for sunrise shots. You can see some of morning light in his wings.

This was cropped but did not want to go too much, and was lightened a little bit.

Thank you in advance for your comments.

Wow Sandi, absolutely love the way the early morning sun is shinning throught the wings with such soft and gorgeous colours and the tips of his wings barely clearing the water

It looks like it is practicing in case it gets in a photo finish race Tigz. I like the color and the mood. Great shot in low lighting.

Sandi ... I'd say you did a great job with your post-editing & I know what you mean about the cropping. I have thousands of swan images that need some sort of cropping. I sure love the warmish backlighting on the wings as well as your choice in framing. Very well done.

I don't think I have ever seen a swan in flight, for real. I guess I just think of them floating around on the water. Very nice work with this, Sandi.

Sandi bright enough for me! The light on the wings is beautiful. Did you move your camera with the moving bird, I think you have and it looks good! The size and the frame make it even more beautiful. Well done my friend! Mich

Sandi - Limited light, a moving target - difficult circumstances that you defied to capture this so well. I do like the early light reflected on the wings. Well done! Thad

Very peaceful and lovely composition, Sandi! I too, love the warm lighting at it's wings, and how they are just skimming the surface of the waters! A fine job on the framing too!
