This is another sunset capture my other half took while mushroom hunting earlier this year. There were forest fires in the area and the smoke from them created this smokey sunset.

You can view the first one by clicking here

I have posted some of the camera info on that one.

Thanks for your comments, and so sorry I'm way behind on commenting. I'll catch up! :)

I also want to dedicate this one to Bob (Dunstickin) for his birthday June 26th. Happy Birthday O.B.

I want to add that I did crop this image at the top, and bottom.

I love the way you have framed the sun with the trees, Sandi. Excellent color tone, and an overall gorgeous shot.

Thats a wowser. One thing...I dont know about you but when ever I capture a sunset I sit there and stare at the computer until its ready to fall apart agonizing over whether or not I should crop off any on the left or the right. Im thinking this one may have benefited from such a cropping.. ????

I wonder if it's there's too much dark and the light gradient around the sun could be smoother?

Still, an eye catching image and well worth posting!

I love this one better! I'm getting to the point where I'm not too fond of framing anymore. Especially on scenes like this. Truly gorgeous and outstanding Sandi! Faved!

You have framed the sun so nicely with the use of the trees as a silhouette.

Echo in here? "Wow".. thats what I was gonna say, but I see it has gone through an inflation.
So mind me saying this instead: Fuck yeah! This is.. what is a good word for this? Supercalifragilistic-extrialidocus? Did I get it right? =D
I mean.. wow. There, I said it. Could not help it. This pic has the WOW-effect! In the words of the younger generation, this pic is pure WIN.
