A Sweet Capture - Young Swans

While driving around with a swan capture in mind, I spotted a family of them.

There is a nature path that I took to get close enough, but had to aim the lens through tree branches to get some shots. I was crouched down and aiming through the trees with the canon 70-300 IS USM lens.

Thank you in advance for yoour comments, and hope you enjoy this sweet capture.

I'm going to be very busy at work, this I already know, so will try to keep up on my commenting, not sure yet about posting, but please know that I'm ok and will do my best to keep up with the comments.

Wonderful my friend, did you know that in England all the swans belong to the queen, and if you kill one, you could be hung by your neck until your well and truly dead.

So now you know.....LOL.

You know Sandi, I think this picture of young swans is truly special. They are about to become truly beautiful creatures but this is a reminder that they already are.

So adorable!!!! And first of all, thanks for the heads up about your work schedule girl. You DO know how I worry! And this shot is just excellent! I hope you didn't get hurt sneaking around the trees and bushes.

Going from the ugly stage to the beautiful swan..... You have done a fine job with this one, well worth the time taken to get it. Well done. Lyn.

Refering to Mark's comment: Think you don't have the intention at all to kill any, but if I'm wrong, be glad you don't have a queen, so they don't hang you by your neck, LOL!!.
Fine picture, Sandi.

An unusual and very nice image Sandi. The reflections look very nice. Very good focus on the swans too.

Don't think I have ever seen them in their "ugly" swan stage. But, I don't see how anyone could have said that they were ever ugly. They are two beautiful young ones. The reflection and clarity are prefect.

I don't think I have ever seen a brown swan before, and it looks like you got a mirror image both above as well as below! Your maneuvering and crouching certainly paid off, Sandi! I love the lighting and colours as well! Incredibly beautiful my friend! :) Faved.
