This caught my eye and captured it with the canon ef 70-200mm USM lens.

Shot in strong sunlight.

Thanks for your comments, and suggestions. =^..^=sandi♥

Hope you did not get to close to that wasp. LOL!! Great photograph. Love the color and clarity.

The photo is very lovely, very nice colors,Sandi, nice view of the insect, the blurred background is very good,be careful with strong sunlight,it is not easy to take photos in these conditions.

A very witty title Tigz, & so apt, quite an unusual upload, caught in perfect clarity. That lens is working well for you.

Since you got this lens Tigz, I have that song It's A Small World running through my head.
Great post.

Sandi....

I just saw this one in the VB. I gave it high marks even though I wish the wasp wasn't in shadow. I bumped the score up a point for fortitude. I hate bees.

Sharp focus Sandi - a very good capture showing the "chandelier" and insect.

Very nice, Sandi. I especially like the way the top of the flower is "cropped away", and the way the green leaves on the right balance the photo.
Only minus is that it seems to me that the focus is on the foremost anther and not on the bug. (could be my eyes tricking me, though.)
