A plump Yellow Bellied sapsucker woodpecker hanging onto the feeder and enjoying the last bit of suet. Of course I went out in the cold, and snow and replenished them this morning after taking this shot. They are most happy. :)
My other half made me a feeding platform as well, so went out, and scraped it off, sprinkled goodies on it as well.
He seems to have some feather markings like a Downy? I guess I have not really noticed that before, this bird seems a bit different than the other red bellied woodies. After seeing a posting by Richie (biffobear) I decided to shoot this one through a closed window with the canon 70-200 lens.
Thanks for your comments, and stay warm.
