I spotted a pair of mute swans at Grassy Creek, which is located just a few miles from where I live, and here is one of them.

Used the canon 450D, with the canon 70-200mm f/4L lens, and kenko DGX 1.4x converter, hand held.

An elegant photo. The swan stands out beautifully from the background, the reflection is great. The horizontal ripples add even more interest. Somehow the beak seems a bit over-red but maybe that's just the way it is. I like how you left extra space in front of the swan too, rather than rigidly center it.
