For such a dirty bird, carriers of lice and such, they sure have beautiful markings Tigz. You truly can't judge a book by the cover on this bird. Excellent clarity and a great post.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I could, I would give you an award. But alas, I cannot. So the highest praise I can award you with, is faving your artwork.
It looks like the Starling is taking a break also at the bird feeder...I saw lots of them last week in the field outside my Smokey Mt timeshare condo. Diane
Everyone here hates these birds, but I think they are great. They sing very pretty when they try and their colors are stunning in the sun. Great post dear, the details are wonderful!

All your birds including cowbirds have got 10/10 each in VB. This one is my most favourite as it reminds about the pansy coloured starling the Jimbo [SAJ] recently posted. Cats and birds have received their due awards. SAM
