This blue jay would go back and forth from this perech to somethine else, and did a lot of pecking around in the wood, must have found something he liked.
Beautiful shot, well composed, Sandi. If you crop exactly half from the top, to the highest point in the Jay, your balance will improve, and allow maximum attention on the Jay and spiked perch. It's about the same as having too much beautiful sky, stealing attention from the subject.
Excellent pose on this one Tigz. I am using a slow, dull screened laptop while at the meeting and will give this the once over when I return home. If it looks good on this it must really be good.
