The first water lily I have seen this season. I shot this at the Calendar Gardens, and did crop chop the image.

Thank you in advance for your comments.

Excellent details, & a nice exposure setting too, I would just like to see a larger size that would fill my monitor screen. But it's your choice Tigz, some uploaders are frightened of image pirates !

So you have a Crop Chop Shop too, Tigz. If anyone has a pet frog, they need this photo. Nice work.

This is a really good one Sandi. The light coming through the petals is amazing.

Beautiful lighting, Sandi. I'd have cropped it even more. In from the right border to just past the ring on that big lily-pad . That concentrates everything on the lily and the lighting, facing the dark water.

Yep, I think the lilys are out now. Thought I saw some down by a nearby bayou. I'll have to go investigate. This one of yours is lovely.

Beautiful photo, Sandi. Aspect ratio is unusual, but very effective. Great composition, on the background too. This plant must be very rare in my country, I don't remember I had seen one of them, but in botanic gardens.

I too enjoy the lighting. Seems to add an original element to the colors and details.
