I had to take the new canon out for some test shots.
I went out to the Tri lakes game preserve, and spotted this lovely lady growing wild, and decided against any framing to keep her in her natural state of beauty as much as possible.
I used the canon T3i EOSD camera along with my canon ef70-200mm f/4L lens.
I forgot to set it to the RAW format, but did so after getting back home.
Scene - Standard
focal length 200mm
Shutter speed 1/1000 sec.
F stop F5.6
Manual exposure and white Balance Auto

This is great no matter what format you had it in Sandi. I dont see how the color could have been any better.

I was just starting to view this capture full screen & lost my internet connection ... I finally got back on & now I can view it again. A lovely capture with pleasant colors & excellent detail, Sandi. I like the vertical presentation too. I thought you would be posting one from the new Canon soon & those settings worked out nicely. Can't wait to see more from the new camera.

That's odd. I know I commented on this image last night! Oh well. Maybe when I faved it, I thought I had posted the comment. I thought it looked like perfection, Tigs. A really lovely image. You are going to have lots of fun with that camera. I see it now.
