One more from the EFRC or cat camp as my girlfriend, and I call it.

I decided to go with Black and White here since this tiger's coat had too much of a orange cast to it, and I was also tryiing to get rid of the bit of fencing that could be seen.

Something a bit different, but I like it, and I hope you do too.

Of course I want to know your honest critques, and thank you in advance.

Hi, Sandi...

I keep seeing similar notes about viewing a shot full screen. I posted a message on the discussion board because the images in the VB are not full sized. I'm not sure why anyone would look at the 2"x3" shot and bother to comment. Typically I choose the size that is larger than the one in bold and then hit right click and view image so that I can see what I'm looking at. I'm sure you've heard this before from guys, but my monitor is enormous.

I'm curious why you shot this through the fencing. In the future I think you might try this. Go to a butcher shop and roll around in the cuttings on the floor. Beef is preferable. Then head over to cat camp, sneak up to this fellah while he's napping and shoot us a macro or two. Set your camera for continuous shooting. You can post the shots directly from the hospital, but make sure they're color shots.

Unusual to see the tiger in B/W but it looks quite good Sandi. Well captured with clear details.

I think he has just finished lunch and wants a sweetie like you for desert Tigz. I had to laugh at Roger's comments.
B/W suits it well.

You sure did a fine job of removing the fence. Might I suggest this image would be more powerful if you left the color of the eyes? Perhaps you could select only the eyes and add more contrast to them. Good work on the pose and presentation, Tigs.

Great shot in b&w. One eye open is very much aware. Nice work.

I think the b&w is perfect for this big cat. The lighting is special as well.

This tiger has such a tame look to it. Must be the look in its eyes. I like this in black and white, too. Excellent image, Sandi.

B&W makes this 'kitten' even more threatening than it already is from its own. Don't think it's taking a nap: it's watching you! Glad I can enjoy if from my screen, lol.
Good post, Sandi.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
