Captured this dragon at the Calendar Gardens. There is a lily pond that they just love, and there is an abundance of them.

A really beautiful close up Sandi. The contrasting colours make it very eye catching and the detail in the insect is superb. Add the nicely blurred background and I think it all adds up to an image to be proud of.

Right on the button once again, Sandi. The DoF and the colorful abdomen and head make this one a keeper. Change the background to brown and turn the dragonfly into a turkey vulture and this could be my home town.
