A vibrant lilly captured with the canon 18-55 IS lens, with the canon T3i. I have tried this kind of shot with that lens before, and did not like the results, but thought I would try again, and I think I pulled it off this time.

The IS Version is a far cry from the old 18-55...This is a fine shot...R.

I don't know, Tigs. It's getting to the point where all of my "critiques" are going to sound the same. All things technical look great on this flower shot. The detail and clarity are amazing.

Spot on, Tigs. Definitely my favorite among the lilies. They do put on quite a show. That seems a fine little lens. Much better than the kit lens that used to come with the Rebels.
