I have been waiting for the butterflies, and finally I'm seeing them, not alot, but I know there are some at the Calendar Gardens.

I used the 70-200 with the converter for this capture.

Thanks for your support, and constructive advice.

I can smell the sunlight on your skin. Listen to them. Children of the night. What music they make!

A beautifully executed capture, Sandi. I love this angle of the butterfly ... nice detail too. The warmish background sets the flowers off as well. Excellent.

I hadn't seen any around here until last week Sandi and have seen a lot of swallowtails now - no monarchs yet. This is a goody.

That is a fine capture, I would like to see the whole flower, but, the focus and back ground are perfect. I got a few today, since the heat wave I haven't been out much.

This is a very special capture Tiggs. I think you are as good with butterflies as you are with the big cats.

Such a delicate and beautiful picture. Not too sharp, not too soft - just perfect :)

What a beauty. The soft colored blur background really makes the flower and the butterfly really stand out.
