Captured this flutterby while at the Dahlia trial gardens, at Bonneyville Mill County Park, which is located in Bristol, Indiana. The mill is working mill, and I have bought stone ground flour from there before, very good! It has been in use since the mid 1830's. The park has 223 acres, and there are shelters for picnics, and also a lookout tower, if you feel up to taking the steps, which I have done! The Dahlia trial garden is located close to the mill, along with a nice array of other plantings, even a small herb garden.

Thank you for your comments, and hope you day was a good one.

The park sounds like an interesting place to visit & I know it is one of your favorites. A beautiful capture of this Buckeye ... one species which I've never seen in person. Nice composition & I like your choice in framing. Beautiful work, Sandi.

Very nice presentation Tigz. You are very versatile in your presentations and crops. I like the light shining on the buckeye butterfly.

Tiggs you have set the bar at a whole new height with this one. The butterfly is beautiful as is the flower and the framing is perfect.

Wonderful image and a ditto presentation, Sandi. There's only one minor disadvantage to me: because of the format I can't use it as a desktop picture, althoug I have a wide screen, because it's worth to use it this way.

Regards, Cornelius.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
