Another capture from the Calendar garden.

My internet was down this morning, and after making a call to inquire about it, I was told it would not be back on till Monday. Well it's Sunday, and it's back up at least for now.

I also want to make this image a dedication to those who lost so much 10 years ago today, 9/11 a horrible date that I won't forget.

Thank you for your comments.

Amazing that this would be called a Buckeye Butterfly. You would think it's colors would be Scarlet and Gray! LOL. Another great capture, Sandi. I like the foofies, and the bokeh, too.

The Buckeye butterfly (Junonia coenia) has some resemblance with the Peacock butterfly. It's unknow however on this side of the big pond.
It's a precious butterfly and you've captured it so well, Sandi.
A very fine post.

Great capture of this Buckeye Butterfly, perfect lighting and detail. I have failed this Summer at getting one in good focus as you did here, but I will keep trying.
