Really nice capture of this Buckeye, Sandi - very sharp and colorful. Small caveat - the presentation on this one confuses me (not hard to do) and I find myself turning my head sideways to get some perspective. Still beautiful -
This shot of the Buckeye butterfly is one of your very best, Sandi. I think you and your camera have become one with nature. This reminds me of the episode on "Kung Fu" when Caine climbs into a deep pit filled with rattlesnakes. He becomes one with nature and the rattlesnakes leave him alone. I'm sure that if you and your camera climbed into a pit of rattlesnakes, you would become one with nature and would be unharmed. On a separate but related note, I find it more than coincidental that when I went through the drive thru at McDonald's today I said, "I'll have 2 Big Macs and Defries".
Thanks to the almost square size of your image, it fills only the half of my wide screen. Still sufficient to say that I've never seen such a tall butterfly, lol. Details and colors are wonderful as well. Excellent post, Sandi.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
