I thought this was a perfect autumn foofy. Another capture from the flower show: Shooting info: I used the canon rebel t3i, with the canon 70-200mm f/4L lens and the kenko DGX 1.4x converter, and used the flash on the camera.
Postwork done in photofiltre studio, cropped, sharpened, and used the gamma option.

Boy those dahlias are just perfect in every way. Do you have a separate flash, Tigs? The one on the camera isn't really very powerful. I have one, but always forget to bring it along.lol

I thought it looked like a flash shot Tigz. It reminded me of one of SAM's when she is walking Boris late. It sure has the fall look to it. Great camera work.

This does have perfect autum colors Sandi. I really like the flowers with the multi colors. Great details.

I'm not sure what just happened. I wrote a couple of paragraphs and then looked back up at my monitor and I was at the Caedes home page. I had that problem when they first eliminated the VB; so I'd better type as fast as possible before I lose this comment as well.
What I already said but which vanished into the ether, was that I appreciate the technical portion of the narrative. As you know I'm in awe of your postings and am trying to gather information.
Interesting that you guys are all starting to post fall colors except for LE who is posting spring shots. In California it hovered at about 100°F today. No sign of autumn here. Actually we don't even really get an autumn this close to the coast. A few imported trees will change colors in a month or two but the native oaks will stay about the same although certain species lose their leaves.
Beauteous colors. Spectacular clarity as always. Thanks much for the PM's. They have been copied and placed into my photo.doc file.

Sandi, refering to Cindy's comment, I suppose she's right and that you have used an external flash to create a, so called, 'fill-in flash'. The lighting is perfect anyhow and so is your image. Well done.
