Another capture of the Monarch that was still fluttering about the calendar gardens. I have not been back since, so not sure if it's still there? But it's not like I did not get a few shots of this lovely flutterby.

Thank you for commenting, kind of busy at work again, so will have to see how it goes this week, worked 10 hrs. today! a little extra moola for me, and more for uncle sam!

You were lucky to get so many greats shots of butterflies this past summer Tigz. We were lucky to see them.

Another gorgeous shot, Sandi. Lots of complimentary vegetation.
A bit more crop on the right border and across the bottom would decentralize it and provide a bit more impact from the Monarch.

Beautifully captured, Tigs. You sure it was the same butterfly each time? lol A little more moolah is always a good thing even if it has to be shared wit someone who did nothing to earn it. lol

One again, Sandi, your postings continue to amaze me. Have you ever sent any of your stuff to National Geographic? Your work is truly flawless.

On a odd note, I caught a monarch butterfly and put him in a terrarium with the tarantula that I shot today. The monarch butterfly is an amazing creature migrating 1000's of miles. An hour later I couldn't find him. He must be part chameleon because he's invisible or something. Isn't that weird?

Like to agree with Richie's comment above, because, to me, he has hitted the nail right on its head.

Thanks for another beautiful image of a Monarch, Sandi. Very well done again!

Delightful photo of the orange Monarch Sandi!
I know they migrate south to the mountains of Mexico sometime in October. I made a donation to EFRC. They said shipping was free....they are not mailing me some exotic cat I hope.
