I hope you had some grub waiting on this dam duck, Tigz. He is making a bee line towards you. Clarity and reflections are super.

I like the reflection of the duck, and the wake it is leaving, too. Very nice shot, and it is looking right at you.

Hi, Sandi...

Just what exactly is your problem with the pond that you feel the need to swear about it. The water looks very clear and there's not a ripple except the little wake caused by the duck. Exquisite detail and you gotta love the color of the duck's bill. Nicely composed. Hope you didn't have to work too hard today. But I can tell you're in a foul mood when you start saying things like this is a damn pond. At least the title wasn't f-ing duck. Beautiful posting as always, Tigs.

That duckie is really moving out! Look at that wake he is generating. I say he because the back feathers appear to be those of the drake. This one must be just getting his drake feathers in for him to strut his stuff this winter.

You could have used a bit more space in the direction of travel, Sandi. I'm guessing you cropped a chunk off the bottom.
Lovely shot and wake pattern, though.
Were you feeding that dam duck.?

Great clarity on the duck. I like how it has left such a wake behind it in the still water.

Sandi, seems that the duckie is equiped with turbo propulsion, or is in in such a hurry because it's expecting a slice of bread from you, lol.

Very fine post.

Really great capture, Sandi. Artful photo with a great composition and angle of shot. Adding the waves into the composition is really good idea and made this shot artful.
