This was taken about 2 miles from my home. I pass this way every day, and decided to stop and get a shot.
I will be gone starting sunday morning through wed. Going to Nashville, Tn, with my girlfriend,No Marty Suart this time but will be seeing Bill Anderson, Del McCoury, Brad Paisely, Alabama, Carrie Underwood, and Josh Thompsona at the opry tues. night.
I will have the laptop, so I hope to keep up with my comments.

Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.

Yup, looks like some of the places I've seen around here these last few days. Excellent clarity. I especially like the shadows of the maple leaves on the tree trunk on the right. Have fun down in TN. Good to see you're getting some time off.

I was a little taken aback by the funky greenish border, but that's small potatoes. As always, Tigs, your shots are crystal clear and sharp as a tack. If anything, your detail is so precise that the dense foliage is almost overpowering. When you can count the leaves on the tree, you have arrived at sharpness Nirvana.
May the force be with you in Nashville. With those teal colored fingernails, you won't have to look far for trouble because it'll find you. I hope that this time you manage to avoid any significant jail time although receiving a post card from the Nashville jail would be pretty neat.

I envy you, Sandi. Josh Thompsona is the only one from which I don't know his music. The other ones mentioned in your narrative are very well known to me. Del McCoury and his (bluegrass) band are the favorite band of mine, while 'Pilgrim' performed by Steve Earle & the Del McCoury Band is my favorite song. Have a good trip and enjoy you very much.
