Sorry the wasp is not facing inward for a better comp. sometimes we just don't have the time to perfectly set it up. I remember they were very active this day.

I can see the flower buds through its transparent, faceted wings. So clear! I must admit, this wasp looks pretty threatening. Great shot!

Beautiful work, Sandi. We have tons of these little buggers around here right now. I'm not sure how you were able to get that close. Perfect close up. DoF, clarity, etc. all perfect as usual.
