Captured this lovely swan as the Dam Pond earlier in the season.

I decided to use the layer option in elements 8 with a bit more playing around. I also cropped this one, and did alot of clean up in the water with the clone tool.

Thank you for commenting, and hope you enjoy the results.

Sandi, Think both the swan and I hope that the water stayed wet, lol.

Very fine capture and ditto postwork!

I seems to be looking at the water and wondering what you have done to it Tigz. Nothing like a Swan out for a stroll to brighten your day.

Cool capture of this creature, Sandi - I really like the pose and the way it's looking back as if reluctant to leave the water. It makes one wonder what is going through that bird brain -

Don't you just hate when there is a bunch of junk floating in the water? I use the clone tool to get rid of it a lot. Excellent shot, Sandi. You would think the swan's neck would hurt in that position!

It was worth the time spent in the post shot editing because this is such a tranquil and beautiful shot! I love the way the colour of the water seems to play on the back of the swan and the careful curve of its neck! You composition is perfection! Nice work :)
