Such beautiful contrasts of sunshine and shadow with the dark trunks standing like sentinels guarding the river. A magical atmosphere which draws one right into the scene. Lovely image Sandi
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Sandi, recently you have commented on my 'Play Of Light And Shadow 6' image: "You did a very nice job on capturing the light play throughout this lovely image." Think I can use this comment for your own image as well. Very fine post!

Oohh, that light looks warm. Beautiful shot and the location reminds me of a place I used to go fishing years ago. Thanks for taking me back there. -Christie

Love the lighting. Such nice details without any overexposure. I like what Lyn said about the trees. The lighting over the speckled leaves in the water are a nice compliment too.
Sandi - There was no small challenge in capturing this shot with the stark contrasts in lighting - but, you nailed it. The darkness of the foreground and bright lighting on the trees across the stream, all with color and detail control makes a most pleasing image. Kudos! Thad
