I received an email from our dear friend Susanne,(SEFA) and she has asked me to share it with you, It brought tears to my eyes.

My dear friend, I am writing to you to wish you and yours all the best for 2012. I also want to tell you that my health is not good. I am now in hospital and they have found that my brest-cancer has spread to the skeleton. I am going to get radiotherapy and hormone therapy to stop it from spreading any more. I now need help with everything and I need a wheelchair to move around. With the right kind of pain relief it is slowly getting easier to move around. I hope to be able to go home in a couple of weeks and learn how to live my life the best way possible. I will go on taking photos and doing the things I like best in life. As my best friend at Caedes I thought you should know about this. I will fight this with the help of God, my family and friends. I hope all is well with you and yours and I wish you all the best Hugs Susanne

Thank you for commenting.

That is sad news about Susanne but I knew she had been ill just did not know how bad it was. Our former mayor's wife lived with the same situation for over 9 years so I am hopeful Susanne will be able to receive the same response to the medical advances that now exist. I will keep her in my thoughts. This is a lovely shot of the dove Sandi.

The dove is a symbol of peace and hope Tigz. Let us pray that it brings these to our wonderful friend Susanne. Every day that each of us enjoys without a dreaded disease at our door is a day for us to be thankful.
Prayers are with Susanne and her family. Here is a link to her site.
Thanks for sharing such a sad moment with us.
Your photo is outstanding.

The dove, both symbol of peace and love. May that be what Susanne finds in her battle with a disease from which many who have been treated with the newest protocols have found remission. My mom is a breast cancer survivor (5 years) and many other women are too. That is what I wish for you Susanne and many more years beyond that of good health and happiness.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
