Captured this bluejay with my canon 70-300 IS USM lens.

Have a good day, and thanks for commenting.l

I only did a slight bit of saturation using the canon software. I liked the natural, and softer colors for this one.

Great job capturing the blue jay while it was sitting still! They rarely hold still for me! Beautifully done, Sandi. Fantastic color and lighting!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

It's nearly the colour of the out of focus background!...

Looking to camouflage itself from you...lol

The jay was excellent, but what I really liked best was the pattern of branches and especially the curve of that one appearing to come from the jay's head. Very cool shot. Faved.

Focus is superb, Tigz. They are a difficult bird to shoot because of their nervous habits. You did great.

I agree with you Sandi, I also like the softer colours on this gorgeous blue jay. Looks like he's had a bit of yummies and waiting his turn again

I too like the softer colors and it's a nice head-on view.
