A different day, different bird, shot on a cloudy, cold day at the park in town.

I used the canon t3i, with the canon 70-200mm lens and converter combo.

Thank you for your comments.

Beautiful !
I like the simplicity of this and the leaf in the forground should be a distraction but it isn't - it adds even more reality and makes me want to peep beyond it :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I know it's not original, Sandi, but I like to copy the comment of Lyn, as she hits the nail on its head.

Beautiful image indeed! Very well done!!

The Robin seems a bit shy, perhaps he was reluctant to have his photo on Caedes! Great capture Tigz.

The details on the feathers are sharp and the colours perfect. Nice capture Sandi.

I think the Robin's stance says it all.

I like this pose ... shows off the colorful breast as well as the darker colors on top. I remember trying to take a picture of a nearby robin and it kept on turning so the breast was hidden from my sight. Using its camouflage to best advantage. Good capture.
