Another one from my visit to the EFRC, this regal fellow is named Sam.

We were asking about the cost of running this wonderful place. They had a tiger that had cataract surgery, and dental work to the tune of $10,000 dollars, I'm not sure just how much of that was donated, but it gives one a sense of the cost of running such a place.

They now have almost 230 big cats.

This was shot through fencing using the canon t3i, and canon 70-200mm lens, and kenko 1x4 converter, on a cloudy day, we waited out some rain, before driving the last few miles to the cat camp.

We were greeted at the entrance by their orange kitty kat, and heard the intense roaring of the lions throughout the camp, heard the chuffing of the tigers, purring of the cougars, and also their sweet cry. Upon leaving that orange kitty cat, escorted us to the road, it was the end of a purr-fect day. :)

Thank you for commenting, and I really enjoy sharing this place with you, I hope to go back in the fall.

Tigs♥ =^..^=
