I followed this bird as he kept walking in, and out of the sun and shade, finally I managed this one, and was able to capture his neat coloring. I think this is a common grackle after looking it up, a part of the blackbird family.

Thank you for commenting.

Sandi, I think this blackbird has gotten the blues, lol.

Very fine capture, my friend.

They really are pretty if they sit still for long enough to notice the blue on the breast. I have a nest of baby robin's right outside my front window on the porch! lol

Good clear shot of this magpie Sandi (at least I believe it is a magpie). They are regular visitors here but at the slightest disturbance they take off.

Neither starling nor a magpie, we know it, being secret agents !!! LOL
You lucky girl, you. Even pigeons would not pose for me... Ducks rarely too...
But instead we have had a rain tonight !!! The first for weeks and weeks! For hay fever victims like SAM & SAAB [both], this has been a great relief. I had to tell you. Also Boris is slowly forgetting about any operation... The worlds seems better and more colourful for us both these days !

Your right Sandi, that's a Grackle, we have lots of those around here. It's amazing how they look black until in the sun and they do have beautiful colours in the neck and heads. You captured him perfectly.
