I know this is not the best clear shot, but I was thrilled to even get one this good. I took so many and maybe 1 more could be useable.

He was so active, and darting in, and around the flowers, in the shade, and sunlight, this had to be one of most difficult shots I have ever taken.

Thanks for viewing, and commenting, I do appreciate hearing from you.

I see these darting around my flowers in the early evening - they move incredibly fast and drive my cat crazy if she's at the window - amazing you caught him so well!

Neat shot Sandi! I had one in our gardens darting about the Sweet William blooms. Snapped a few shots of it and I will have to share one of those shots too. They have neat markings and their tailend looks like little ruffled feathers.

Do you do any burst shooting on your action shots Tigz? Sometimes it helps to get one good one. They sure are fat little moths. I like it.

A really good shot under difficult movement!..

I have never seen one of these afore...

Usually when I go out to snap fast flying buggers!

I select 'Sports' mode on 'multi' shot!...I usually come out with a couple of good ones out a hundred!!!...

--this had to be one of most difficult shots I have ever taken---
Not necessary to explain this to me, Sandi, because it took me a couple of hours to achieve a reasonable result in a comparable situation.

Your result however is very good!!!
