Thank you for your comments, I found these lovelies at the Calendar Garden also known as Defries Gardens named for the very generous lady who donated this property to the county.
Perhaps I'm using a cliché, but this one is a feast to the eyes. I've decided however to use this cliché as it makes very clear where this image stands for.

Great shot! These are called Portulaca or Moss Roses. I'm growing them from seed right now. I plan on putting them everywhere. They will grow anywhere, even in very sandy soil.
I love the different colors in this. My Mother always had Moss Rose . I planted some this year hopefully they will be as beautiful as your shot is, Sandi.
I love moss roses Sandi and my mom usually grows these mixed colors - your never know what combo of color you'll have from day to day - they are so small you did a wonderful job of capturing them.
What a beautiful collection of colours. They compliment each other so perfectly :0) The clarity and clearness of this shot is just a bit mind blowing. A truely beautiful foofy shot! :)

Wow do those colors pop. Great focus on these beautiful flowers. Very well presented. This must be viewed at full screen, but even before I did I was shocked at how perfect this is.
Portulaca. They grow different colors on the same plant I think and how colorful and pretty they are. Those petals look paper thin. Beautiful image, Tigs.
