I took alot of shots of this busy flutterby, they are non-stop when it comes to the wing action, and dart from flower to flower.
I was thrilled to get some decent captures of it in action.
Used the canon 40D, with the canon 70-300 IS USM lens, focal length 280.00 and used continuous shooting.
The more I use this camera, the more I like it.
Thank you for commenting, and now I will get caught up with my commenting.
This was taken today, at the Calendar gardens, (Defries).

Almost as difficult as to capture a humming bird with its extremely fast moving wings, but you've succeeded in doing this very well, Sandi! My compliments.

Truly an excellent capture Sandi. These little moths move around so quickly it is hard to just get a good photo of one. But to get the wing detail is totally awesome!!

I first saw one of these about six years ago. Until then I didnt know they existed. Only just saw it by chance flying round a hanging basket. It just looked like a hummingbird in its movements which was what caught my eye. This is a superb capture of this litte creature and going straight into my fav's. Thank you for sharing!
