Okay it's a weird title but it's early, and I have not finished my coffee. :)

I'm thinking I should have cropped it different for a better comp. but this is it, for what I had to work with.

Happy Friday everyone.

A most splendid capture Sandi.
The times I have attempted to capture a bee in flight are numerous and I never have so I am very envious of this :)
A top notch image in my eyes.
Happy Friday !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Excellent foofy image Sandi. The bee is so sharp even in flight and the flower looks wonderful. The composition is fine as it is.

I think this is an outstanding capture Sandi - a bee in flight is an accomplishment!

"Was It Something I Said?" The bee seems put off by the flower Tigz. Wonderful composition, clarity and color. The 3C's as I call them.

It's beautiful, Tigs! Sharp and detailed with a wonderful dof. Wouldn't mind having these kinds of shots to "work with" all the time.

You've done so well to retain focus on the bee and keep clarity on the flower..It's great..R.

Despite the fact that it's a pretty small image, at 1051 x 765, it's still one of the best fast-shutter captures I've seen at Caedes. The wings of the bee are blurry, something to be expected from an insect that moves this fast, but everything else is tack sharp, creating a very nice bokeh effect with the distant background. The clarity makes it look almost like the flower is spitting the bee into the leaves.
